Welcome to Groovy Candles

Groovy candles was originally a project which started in the late 1990s when I began to experiment with different candle-making techniques.

Eventually, after several years of trial and error, I developed my own unique style of handmade designer candles, which I refer to as "groovy candles".

My candles are totally unique and people absolutely love them. For a brief period of time, I sold my candles locally, and they were quite a big hit. But I soon realized that if I continued making all of the candles myself, I just couldn't meet the demand. And because each one is made by hand, requiring about an hour of labor, I couldn’t mass produce them either.

Simply put, I had to make a choice: Did I want to pursue a candle making business? Or just make candles as a hobby?

For personal reasons, I decided to keep it as a hobby, even though I am a natural born entreprenuer.

I am planning to add a section to this site to include instructions and video tutorials to show you exactly how you can make "Groovy Candles" - the coolest looking, most unique, hand-made designer candles ever!

They are 100% my original creations. It took me thousands of hours to develop and perfect my candle making techniques.

Groovy Candles make great gifts too. They burn way longer than the average candle, they smell great (or you can make them unscented) and they self-extinguish when they are finished burning. Each one is hand carved with a design that will illuminate when burning.

I’ve never met anyone who did not absolutely LOVE my Groovy Candles.
